Twitter temporarily restricted Taliban Spokesperson’s account

KABUL: US micro-blogging and social networking platform Twitter has restricted the account of Taliban Spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid.

According to the details, Twitter has restricted the accounts of Taliban Spokespersons, after Donald Trump has asked the judge to force Twitter to restore his account.

The Taliban Spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid’s Twitter account @Zabehulah_M33 was temporarily restricted because “there was some unusual activity from this account”, according to Twitter.

Earlier, Twitter has removed the verified badges from the accounts of various Afghan government ministries.

Twitter has removed the blue verification badge from the Twitter accounts of the Foreign Ministry, Defence Ministry, Interior Ministry, Presidential Palace and National Procurement Authority.

Meanwhile, it is been over a month since the Taliban captured Kabul after an aggressive and rapid advance against Afghanistan government forces amid the withdrawal of US and NATO troops from the country.
